Ecological Evaluation of Wild Horse Herds (PDF)
Having visited and
studied the environments of more than thirty wild horse and burro herds, Craig
Downer made a number of disturbing discoveries including how the equines in
Nevada were being denied access to water and the intentional destruction of
their habitats. The highly illustrated report includes specific geographic
references, confirms an alarming level of hostility aimed at the horses and
urges mankind to protect these horses and their endangered habitat.
